A follow-up to 2020's 'State of Yearning', which was written and released during lockdown, this mini-album is the second of three 'State' albums, concluding with the forthcoming 'State of Grace'. Whereas 'State of Yearning' dealt with the desire for change and forward motion, 'State of Shock' is a darker, more sombre collection about grief, uncertainty and loss.
